Daniel S. Goll is a researcher at LSCE. Daniel GOLL studied Biology and obtained a PhD in Geosciences at the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology. He has developed modules for Earth System Models which resolve the coupling of plants, microbes and their abiotic soil environment. His overarching aim is to advance our understanding of soil constraints on the response of the land biosphere to global change drivers. He was the first to quantify the effects of phosphorus on the land carbon sink and on carbon dioxide removal by enhanced weathering. He has contributed to multiple international projects related to carbon cycling and climate change.
