Dr Marie-Fanny Racault is a lecturer in Marine Ecology at the University of East Anglia (UEA) in Norwich UK. Her research examines the role of marine viruses and ecosystem stability in a changing climate using global ecosystem and climate models, in-situ genomic observations and Artificial Intelligence. Before joining UEA in 2022, she worked for > 1 decade as a Senior Scientist in satellite oceanography at the Plymouth Marine Laboratory UK. Dr Racault was a Lead Author for the last IPCC AR6 in both the Chapter on climate change impacts on marine ecosystems and the Summary for policymakers.
